DreamWorks Studios ja Nordisk Film solmivat yhteistyösopimuksen

DreamWorks Studios julkistaa äskettäin solmitun yhteistyön myötä Mister Smith Entertainmentin kanssa, että DreamWorks on tehnyt ensimmäiset uudet yhteistyösopimukset seuraavien independent-levittäjien kanssa: Entertainment One (eOne), Constantin Film, Nordisk Film ja Italian Film. Sopimukset ovat seurausta DreamWorksin kansainvälisen strategian muutoksesta ja ovat ensimmäinen vaihe luoda yhteistyöverkko ympäri Eurooppaa, Afrikkaa ja Lähi-itää parhaiden levittäjien kanssa. Strategia antaa DreamWorksille taloudellista joustavuutta, ottamalla huomioon myös kehittyvän maailmanlaajuisen markkina-alueen.

DreamWorks on ryhtynyt monivuotisiin uusiin levityssopimuksiin levittääkseen elokuviaan kaikissa ko. maiden medioissa; eOne Iso-Britanniassa ja Benelux-maissa, Italian Film Lähi-idässä, Nordisk Film Pohjoismaissa ja Constantin Film Saksassa, Itävallassa ja Sveitsissä. Muut yhteistyökumppanit ilmoitetaan lähiviikkoina. DreamWorksin kotimainen levittäjä USA:ssa, The Walt Disney Company, jatkaa Pohjois-Amerikan, Latinalaisen-Amerikan, Aasian, Venäjän ja Australian levityksen hoitoa. Reliance jatkaa DreamWorksin elokuvien rahoittamista ja omistaa Intian levitysoikeudet.

Tämä on ainutlaatuinen tilaisuus työskennellä Hollywoodin luovimpien ja dynaamisimpien elokuva tekijöiden kanssa ja samalla päästä laajentamaan nykyistä asemaamme korkealaatuisten ja kaupallisten elokuvien levittäjänä.
Ensimmäinen elokuva, joka menee tuotantoon ja levitykseen uuden sopimuksen myötä, on uudelleen filmatisointi ranskalais-kanadalaisesta elokuvasta ”Starbuck”, jonka pääosassa nähdään Vince Vaughn. Kuvaukset alkavat lokakuussa 2012 ja ensi-ilta on vuonna 2013.
